Project Overview
ATEB Cleaning Services was hired by a general contractor to provide final post-construction cleaning at a renovated military facility in Devens, Massachusetts.
The approximately 7,000-square-foot facility required interior cleaning following renovation work, including dust removal from ceilings, walls, floors, offices and other rooms. ATEB completed the cleaning in one day, preparing the facility for the general contractor to hand over to the military.

Pre-Project Walkthrough and Coordination
Before the cleaning began, ATEB conducted an onsite walkthrough with representatives of the general contractor and military personnel. The walkthrough provided an opportunity to review the facility, discuss cleaning requirements, and understand the expectations for the final cleaning.
This coordination helped establish a clear scope of work before the scheduled service date.
Cleaning Scope and Execution
With renovation work completed and the facility vacant, ATEB had unobstructed access to the areas requiring cleaning. The work included:
- General dust removal: dusting throughout the facility using specialized cleaning equipment
- Wall and ceiling dusting: removing accumulated dust from interior vertical and overhead surfaces
- Floor cleaning: vacuuming and mopping floors throughout the assigned areas
- Office and room cleaning: dusting and wiping accessible surfaces in offices and other interior rooms
The team completed the agreed cleaning scope during a single service day.
Project Outcome
On December 8, 2025, ATEB completed the final post-construction cleaning of the approximately 7,000-square-foot facility in one day. The completed cleaning prepared the renovated space for the general contractor to hand over to the military.
No additional corrective cleaning was reported following the service.
The project demonstrates ATEB’s ability to coordinate with general contractors, establish cleaning requirements through an onsite walkthrough, and complete post-renovation cleaning efficiently.
