Cleaning Lowell’s Buildings

Lowell’s commercial space ranges from 19th-century mills along the canals to office towers at the I‑495 and Route 3 interchange and industrial buildings off the Lowell Connector. Each type of building needs a different recurring scope. ATEB writes the scope around the building itself, then cleans to it on the schedule you choose.

Our recurring janitorial programs cover the everyday essentials: restrooms, trash and recycling, floors, work areas, breakrooms, and high-touch surfaces. Service frequencies and access arrangements are tailored to each building, with periodic floor care and specialty cleaning scheduled separately.

Mill office buildings

What’s different: Many tenants share lobbies, stairwells, freight elevators and restrooms. High ceilings and exposed beams collect dust, and large multi-pane windows show every streak.

How the scope handles it: Common areas and tenant suites get separate written scopes. High-reach dusting and window cleaning go on the calendar, and floor care is matched to each surface.

Office towers and campuses

What’s different: Large floor plates, shared cafés, fitness rooms and conference centers, and tenants moving in and out across floors.

How the scope handles it: Each floor is scoped on its own. Day porter coverage can keep shared amenities ready during business hours, and vacant floors are cleaned for showings and move-ins.

Manufacturing, industrial and flex

What’s different: Production floors, shared workstations, docks and warehouse aisles, and work that runs in shifts.

How the scope handles it: Offices and production run under one recurring program, with cleaning windows set around your shifts. Technical areas are cleaned under the procedures your facility approves, and industrial floors get periodic scrubbing.

Medical and professional offices

What’s different: Patient- and client-facing spaces that must look ready at opening, alongside private offices and records areas.

How the scope handles it: Cleaning programs for medical and dental offices are developed around patient-care areas, exam rooms, restrooms, and facility-specific infection-prevention requirements. Assigned personnel follow applicable safety procedures and receive role-appropriate training. Professional and financial offices are cleaned after hours and finished before you open.

One Building, Two Kinds of Scope

In multi-tenant properties, common areas and individual suites often have different cleaning requirements. ATEB develops clearly defined scopes and coordinates service responsibilities to reduce overlap, clarify accountability, and maintain consistent cleaning across the building.

For property managers and owners

  • Lobbies, corridors, stairwells, elevators and common restrooms cleaned on a written schedule
  • Vacant suites cleaned between tenants and before showings
  • Tenant requests routed through one ATEB representative
  • Supervisor inspections documented, so you can show tenants the standard is kept

For tenants

  • Your suite cleaned to its own written scope and schedule
  • The building’s access, alarm and after-hours rules followed
  • Coordination with the landlord’s common-area cleaning
  • One contact for extra cleaning before a client visit, an inspection or a move

Schedule a Walkthrough

How Quality Is Managed

In a building with many tenants or several shifts, the person who notices a problem is rarely the person who can fix it. ATEB’s quality system closes that gap.

01

Written scopes by building and area

Tasks and frequencies are set for each area, so common areas, suites and production space each have a clear standard.

02

Supervisor inspections

Supervisors inspect against the written scope and follow up on anything that falls short.

03

Documented corrective actions

When an issue is identified, the corrective action is documented, followed through to completion, and reviewed during subsequent inspections. Clients are informed when appropriate.

04

One accountable contact

One ATEB representative handles scope changes and extra requests. ATEB already coordinates cleaning across multiple buildings, so a portfolio can run as one program.
